Global Institute of Tourism and Management Studies is a tertiary Training Institute based in the Heart of Nairobi City in Uniafric House 3rd floor. The Institute began its operations in View Park Towers with only seven students, later on moved to Uniafric House due to the increasing population of students. |
The Institute was founded by professionals in various fields who teamed up to bring a new face in the Training Industry in Kenya. These professionals were from the Travel and Tourism Industry, Media Industry, Airline Industry, Public Relations, Information Technology, Accounting and Finance. All had teaching experience of over 5 years.
The main objective of Global Institute of Tourism and Management Studies is to train professionals in all areas of management for the global market. The Travel Industry is very dynamic, Tourism being a key sector for the Kenya Economy. There is need for Human Resource in this sector. Global Institute of Tourism and Management Studies aims at producing marketable professionals for the Kenyan and Global Market for this sector. Tourism Related Courses are the backbone of the Institute. By now we have released several students working with various International Airliners and Local Reputable Travel Firms.
