This course is suitable for those already working in the media and wish to enhance their prospects and also for those who intend to pursue a career in this field. Programmes in this department introduce students to the role of the media in modern society and focuses on the skills needed to research and carry out duties effectively as competent professionals. The students are taught professional skills in research, analysis, collection and presentation of news and information. The students learn digital photography, media law, specialized journalism, public relations and other social studies.
